Have also worked on the wings, doing the individual panels, etc.
Such a big project and all the little things one day will add up to a completed airplane.

My God, that's going to look epic. Has anyone ever produced adhesive rivets sized and spaced for scales on a sort of sellotape reel so one can stick on a row a 50 or so at a time? Or is every rivet individually hand-applied? If the latter, I tip my hat to you sir, I really do. I hope for your sake the wings were flush-rivetted? That'd have sent me around the bend.

Looks amazing Mr Green.

Been almost a year since my last post, where does the time go.
Still need to acquire the Landing gear and build the nacelles, but she is coming together.
Hope to post more in the future as winter sets in and the Covid situation remains unchanged.

I love the touches such as the de-icing spray masts in front of the cockpit windows. Very nice indeed.

I love the subtle treatment of the rivets to suggest a little "wear and tear". The fuselage in line with the inner engine airscrews was usually a bit more battered than elsewhere from ice being cast off the prop' discs at speed. (Same reason the Wellington has a double-thickness of doped-linen in line with the airscrews)

The "Taboo" fairing for the mid-upper looks very nice!

Hello all

It has been a while since I have posted anything.
Lancaster is pretty much done.
Just looking for some Landing Gear to get the ball rolling and get this bird into the air.
