Just heard that my good friend and Staunch LMA supporter---Colin Nicol Passed away today
Colin lived north of the border but he was behind all the young cadet training in Scotland and more recently within the LMA --he was also our contact for the Battle of Britain Memorial flight---he had close contacts and was behind all the displays we had from them at our shows---he will be sadly missed---condolences to Leslie and family

Yes, Colin had been a staunch supporter of the LMA and he deserves a medal for his exceptional efforts for the ATC, despite being in poor health for many years. He was a good friend of mine and I always enjoyed our conversations as he ‘kept guard’ on the pilot’s entrance at shows. He joined us at Longhorsley only a year or two back and it’s particularly sad that his membership has been so short lived.
