ERIC THOMAS

Postby ROGER BALE » February 14th, 2010, 10:49 am

I have just been contacted by Rose Thomas, Eric's wife that he passed away last week after many years struggling with ill health. Many people will have bought EAT props, and he was truly one of the personalities amongst the Traders. He always hade a joke or an anecdote and loved walking his dog Blue around after the shows. In recent years he has not been well enough to come from South Wales to the shows. We shall all miss his presence and we send our sympathy to Rose.

Sad to hear that, Roger. Yet another character gone from us.

Another great character lost, he was a good guy was Eric, used to like his caustic wit at the shows, sad loss

Sad news.
Eric made a number of largish left hand and special props for me back in 2006. He was extremely helpful and and provided an excellent service. I remember being amused at the time when his dog joined in our telephone discussions quite vigourously!
Condolences to his family and friends.
Alan
