Hi Neil, If I am not mistaken you will be trying to uploading you’re pictures in high resolution to get the best out of them this will be eating what little storage space we have left.

We are coming to the end of out our storage limit and have applied for more space so hopefully this will resolve the problem; there are a lot of pictures and files on the website and forum which need removing, having only been in charge since the AGM I am a little overwhelmed with the task ahead of me, where I begin is anyone’s guess, but I will tackle it in due course.

For now I am just concentrating on getting people to use our website again and hopefully they will start to contribute to it again, I have had some pictures sent to me from Tony Chaplin (Water Planes) but unfortunately I will have to scan them all to use them so it will take a bit longer before I can update that page, Harry Harland is very kindly doing a peace for me on scaling techniques I will be picking that up at Wigan this weekend also Harry is going to be a film star, I will be videoing him demonstrating his litho plating, Mike Eccles is sending me some info on his HP 54 Harrow, all are to be used on the website in the near future, oh and let’s not forget you Neil your Pictures for the front page are outstanding I can’t thank you enough. :geek:

Use a free online hosting service such as photo bucket, then you just post the link in.

Hi Guys,

Paul, I was using Photobucket & that was the message that kept coming up.

Dave, I do like to post big pictures - that's f'sure. Is it possible to have a dedicated section on the forum for a members photo gallery, sometime in the future? I started a thread over on the RCUniverse site so for anyone who would like to see large pictures of model aircraft in flight - have a look. There's a large selection of model pictures, already.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9428736/tm.htm

Rob, I think I know what the problem with the pictures was - I was resizing the pictures within Photobucket & perhaps the size of picture was still to much for the Forum.

TTFN,
Neil

Here is a very easy to use free online image resizer. All images are automatically
converted to jpeg.

1. Browse to the place on your PC where the image is stored.

2. Select the maximum dimension.....600 pixels in our case.

3. Select the image quality.

4. Click on resize, and the web page will change showing your

resized picture.

5. Right click on the the picture and save to wherever you want

to on your PC.

What could be easier. if you don't have an editing program?
