Sadly this aircraft has still not flown and this is due to one thing, the completely Sh@T retracts from Mick Reeves. They were sent back to MR who said they work fine, which I think translates to, I can't be bothered nor know how to sort out these rubbish items. Likewise he couldn't give a rats ar@@ the cowl was total rubbish too, it didn't fit together properly and was full of pin holes. By the way I gave him the opportunity to correct both items before making this post. So if you are thinking of buying anything from Mick Reeves models, don't expect a quality product, don't expect good customer service either and prepare to be dissapointed.
Whilst I'm on my soap box, it's about time more of the aeromodelling rubbish that gets sold to us on a daily basis should be named and shamed, why is it aeromodelling products are the only thing you will not return for being un-fit for purpose? you wouldn't accept it with any other product you buy. Apart from some of Mick Reeves products being un-fit for purpose I could name plenty of others too.
