Got back on this bird today. making up the outer panels and starting the removable outer panel spars.

Nice to see this project progressing again.
What an incredible aircraft the real thing was. I've got this painting by Michael Turner of a Tempest soaring victorious over a TA 152. Must post it up here, complete inspiration.
I also read once of an amazing treetop dogfight between the same two aircraft.

No I'm doing Yak kits at mo and sorting 190 to kit, so a few weeks before i can get on her again

Had the legs for a while now but not the right retracts, with a lot of help from David Brown we finally got the angles right and a lovely set of retracts to go in.

Had a spare bit of time today while waiting for glue to dry on 190. Tail feathers now done.

Wing fairings now done, ready to glass them Saturday.

And added glass cloth, tomorrow can trim and do further resin coats
