Hi Alan, all I know is that its a scratch build and its 78" span (not sure it is worthy of being on here) its has a Irvine 150 two stroke up front which I'm thinking of replacing with a petrol as it drinks glow fuel!!! I don't have the plan as yet but its previous owner has it and I forgot to get it when I picked it up . It is so well built and has no vices ,flies so slow I can't believe it. When all you hear is how bad they are to fly , this must be the exception , take offs are a bit tricky but I fly off a small field.

Hi i see in the photos that some one has a asm Cessna 182 can any one give me any info on this model what to look out for, fly's like, engine they have used ???
I'm just putting mine together now with a dle 55 so any input would be a big help cheers

Big Dave (Swarbrick) maidened his FEJ MiG 29 (2750mm long, 1900 mm span, 32 kg dry) powered by a pair of 170 N turbines.

Sunday was misty until clearing late afternoon.

7000 miles reminds me of the road trip Phil Clark, me and the wife made to Trondheim in 2010. Great fun, something different if you havent tried it before. Met up with the rest of the Fighter Aces and had a great 4 days of flying 4 days and two ferry crossings there and same back but well worth it. Would love to do it again one day.

Pencil it in for August 2014 mate.........Ben will be 5 and a bit by then so could come with us and Crosby should have his house renovations complete so will have the time/cash to do it again. Handily, the direct ferry's to Oslo are also back on, so the 2 ferries and drive though the highlights of Denmark won't be needed this time.

I went out on Saturday to fly my Bigtilla but after rigging it up and switching on I noticed that the left aileron was not responding, so a quick check of the connections revealed nothing then I noticed a rough bit on the extension lead. Further examination showed more damage and about a 1/4 inch of the negative wire missing and more nicks well down inside the wing. I now know that my garage and workshop have been invaded by mice, caught 4 so far and that they prefer to chew the negative, brown lead, probably tastes of chocolate!!!
