Have you weighed it yet?

When you do fly it, make sure you get it rolling, don't haul it off too early and you'll need to use the rudder in the turns, especially on right hand turns. All the aileron and rudder to you can get and as others have said they don't glide that well but it depends on the weight.
I had one that weighed 16lbs and had an ST 2000 and glided quite well but if its built heavy then it won't glide much at all. Make sure you're wires are connected correctly and there is no twist in the wing once rigged and check and re-check the CofG!!

What servos and battery are you using? I used standard 5kg on the ailerons and one 645MG on the rudder and elevators and used a HD locking switch and 3300 sub c 5 cell nimh.

no not weighed it yet one of the last things to do with the CoG

all servos that came with the tiggie are still in place only had to change the throttle servo most are hitec 635 running 6volts 1300mah lipos x 2

ignition running 6 volts on 2000mag lipo

as for flying it I AM NOT! but i will take your comments on board regarding weight!

Chris what aileron differential did you set on the down and up?

just have to run in the engine for ground test but not a lot left to do!

Re.the Hitec 635HB servos...there was a Tech notice issued by Hitec a couple of years ago saying that 635HB servos MUST NOT be used in petrol powered airframes, as the size of likely aircraft and therefore the engine is likely to cause a gear train failure. Only Metal gears should be used.

Be reet, the meaning was for big aerobatic type control surfaces flapping about, be carefull with the moth when doing 3/4 throttle rolling harriers Richard, It is interesting though, you see the tested for thousands of cycles shows no sign of wear then you get the bit at the end, do not used thread lockers -- i presume they mean internal tapped locking washers? Or it will break the output shaft? Mind you, Karbonite could kill superman, or was that kryptonite?

What they probably mean is that Loctite type thread lockers will make the plastic break, like if you spray acrylic with the wrong sort of paint.
