Flown it today all ok a few clicks of right aileron and down elevator then hands off,the Zenoah 62 was superb loads of power. The pictures are a bit crap unfortunatly but if you zoom in you can see the bombs dropping, they wroked very well unlike the spinner which i had to remove for flight due to vibration issues. Not flying over the weekend but i am going down early next week to get some better pictures and a video, fingers crossed. : :D :D :D

Well been really busy with other projects but at last I have managed to revive a project I started some 12 months ago,i accuired a part built Ziroli Stuka which was basically stripped down to bare frame and rebuilt(I think it's often quicker to build from scratch).Over the last week or so I have glassed the airframe,it is now ready for primer and detailing. The scheme will be the same as my first Stuka which I regrettably sold but I was made an offer I could not turn down, all stencils are ordered from Flightline Graphics,i will keep updating as and when.
Cheers,Dave.

A little more progress on the stuka, all surface detail now finished so I can at last start the painting,i have made a sliding canopy on a screw jack arrangement,it is made from a airwick automatic air freshner,i have used the motor and gearbox to drive it and a micro switch each end to stop it,works well but noisy,I don't suppose you will hear it with the engine running.
Cheers,Dave.

At last got the Stuka painted,i have used a totally different method this time.
All the base colours, stencills etc are all done with celly, the white wash was done with Flair spectrum thinned with synthetic thinners, this made the rubbing back of the white much easier.
Tomorrow I will add all the dry rub maintenance markings and some operational dirt.

Cheers,Dave.

That really is a superb finish. I wanted to do the winter scheme on one of my models but cried off to a simpler desert finish.
I'll have a go on something else before long but you set the bar high!!
