12mm stepped reamer

Postby Dave Osborne » June 30th, 2013, 2:47 am

Does anyone know where to get a stepped reamer that goes up to 12mm in the UK? From my searches it seems they are available inn the USA but we do not seem to have a need for 12mm prop holes in the UK!!!??? I could use a taper reamer but would prefer a straight hole.

cheers Dave

Not sure what the correct name for them is but electricians over here have reamers that are straight and in multi stages.

Similiar to this one > http://www.multiwiicopter.com/products/prop-reamer-6mm-7mm-8mm-10mm-12mm < maybe you can check around with sparkies on your end?

I would go for one too....I could even save the postage and bring them back from Aus in time for Elvington.

I'm keen to get one of these....Dave, Alan if you would like one too then let me know and I can get them ordered and posted to our hotel in Sydney. I can collect them the week after Cosford and will bring to Elvington for you.

Cheers

Steve

Sorry been out of the game for a while due to holiday and work. I am still interested. Is there still a chance for steve to bring some back with him from his travels? If not i will enquire about postage and costs if we can settle on a final number

Hi Alan, Dave.

It all got a bit last minute for me to get hold of some in time...I'm bound to travel out again within the next couple of months so we could possibly arrange something then.

Cheers

Steve
