Hi all sorry for the picture quality and the state of my tiny workshop ie single garage
looks better in real life than on photo's second inner wing under constuction then I can get
the diahedral correct for fitting to the fusealarge, inner cabin lighting came from a decortive bowl light set from B & M store at a cost of £3.50 for a set of 12, bright L E Ds, good value 4.5vdc. Model will also have a full nav light kit and full landing light kit 4 off. Still a lot of work to do as you will all know lot's of sanding, when finished will cover in Solarplex unless anybody knows of anything better. Did think about spraying the whole model but not sure. I might not be as good as some of you guy's at building but I take my time double check everything and make sure it all fits ok before any glueing, I think this model will turn out ok, proof will be in the flying, and have tried to keep as close to the original aircraft design inside and out, happy flying all and thanks for looking.

Never seen one of these before, is it your own plan?

Hi Stewart, Not my own plan, from Palmer plans, from the State's, taken from a real aircraft which my uncle used to fly in the late fifties early sixties, commonly now known as the Shrike, made in the USA, Check out Bob Hoover's Aero Commander u tube videos some crazy flying with both engines off, including low passes, Excellent pilot just nuts. Have fun and thanks for looking.

I am really thrilled with the result, especially the results of 3 last photos, everything is expressed in details, every small ones are perfectly made and Aero-Commander seems to be unimaginable, your work deserves praise, I wish I will be patient enough to perform my own project and also have such imprassive results!

Hello Ret, many thanks for your comments and pleased that you like this model, lot's of luck making yours. I have tried to make this one as close to the original plane, very hard to do. Are you doing yours from plans or from kit. Will put more pics on soon.
