30cc Moki

Postby Mike Ellis » December 24th, 2016, 1:47 pm

Has anyone got experience with a Moki 30F engine. I need a decent motor to power a 16lbs biplane with sufficient punch to be able to perform decent aerobatics, and I have been offered one of these, but as I have never used anything but Zenoahs I know nothing about them.
If anyone has any help I would appreciate it, or perhaps can recommend another suitable engine.

if you want power then moki are ok

i just obtain one runs lovely lot of power intention for a 69" extra 260 once i modded the bell mount

if you want to get a good motor, ngh 35cc 2 stroke good motor but need time to run in

ngh38cc fs are great engines have one in my 1/4 scale tiggie

if you are on a budget look at the rcgf 26, 30 and 35cc motors lots of power

i have a 60cc rcgf, great engine for the money, shed loads of power going in a large bipe, but run in time is longer,

all i can suggest try out a motor on a static run,

Thanks Richard
I appreciate your helpful comments. I do like the look of Rcgf 30, and it seems to have loads of power (3.9hp).

Regards

Mike
