Kingfisher Aviation

Postby Dave Collis 2296 » January 5th, 2017, 2:54 pm

Does anyone here know Paul Dudley of Kinfisher Aviation?

I've been in very sporadic contact via e-mail with him re: Wellington tail wheel retract.
I've tried all 3 contacts via the Kingfisher website and even replied to Paul's last e-mail (Nov.2/16)

No response at all.

Is Kingfisher closed, everyone on holiday??????

Cheers,
Dave.

Dave
if you go on the Kingfisher Aviation web site, Pauls Mobile number is there, I spoke to him in the week leading up to Christmas and he delivered a set of Undercarrriage to me.

Dave,
Dave's address is B.C., Canada, so phone contact with the time difference ( and maybe cost) could be a problem

Thanks, Dave(s)...lol
If someone should see or talk to him, could you remind him to check his e-mails, please?

Dave.

Well, I give up on Paul @ Kingfisher.
I sent out 3 emails, one to Paul and two to the addresses on their website.
I did actually receive a reply from Paul, who claims that my e-mails must be going to their junk/spam file, which I guess they never check.
Obviously, they don't all go to junk/spam as he received that one! I never had any reply from the company contacts!

Paul stated he would e-mail me the following day re: the Wellington tail wheel retract.
That was Jan 6, 5 days ago ...I've heard nothing.

I'll have to try phoning (2.00am my time), but I'm not holding my breath about any positive results.

Does anyone know of another company where I might obtain the retract I'm looking for?

Dave.

You could try Unitracts. They did me a lovely pair of dampers for a project I am working on. Their number is: 07974 954685 and :07805 822240.

Thanks, Mike.

I emailed unitracts......no reply.

I give up. Looks like Kingfisher and Unitracts couldn't care less.

Unitracts were sold to another person a while ago, and I dont think he uses emails. As far as I know he is only usually available by the phone numbers I supplied to you. The guys name is John, he is a 1 man operation so if he doesn't answer his phone ,be assured that he WILL return your call !
His quality is first class ,and his charges are very reasonable for his excellent work.
Best of luck.

i have used John at unitracts for several projects, he is not good a replying to emails but does return your calls and does make very good items for reasonable prices, you just need to gently remind him now and again.

Hi Dave

I have seen Paul today and mentioned to him about this thread and he has shown me that he has e-mailed you back, is it possible that theses mails have gone into your spam bin ?

Paul is a straight guy and will do all he can to assist you

I hope all works out for both parties

Ah, modern communications. We could try writing letters. Dave- it may be your internet provider who spammed it.
