My Father-in-Law had been in the process of building a large scale Lancaster from scratch for
about a year and a half and it is about 90% finished.
Sadley He died from Cancer before he could complete it and his dream of seeing it fly,so we are appealing to
The Large Model Association to see if any of your members would be willing to purchase and finish
this labour of love and let her take flight.
Due to the size of the Lancaster it seemed only fitting to approach The Large Model Association as
this would not be for the average RC flyer but for someone who has the room and ability to accomadate
this size model.
The Lancaster is Approx 8ft 6in Fuselage and 12ft 8in Wingspan(DONT know the weight) it has been mostly skinned and Painted and has fully retractable undercarriage and Tail wheel, all 4 engines are electric and supplied with the powerpacks and propellers as well as the Gun Turrets.
Also any spare parts and materials will be included.
I must emphasise that it will NOT be sold as Parts but as a complete unit.
ALL the proceeds of the sale will go to the ELLENOR LIONS HOSPICE.
The Model is currently at my Sister-in-Laws house in Bexley Kent as that is
where my Father-in-Law lived.
We would like to achieve £500.00 ovno.
