I have recently started building a byron 30% christen eagle and would love to hear from anyone who has had any experiance of these so called kits, The quality of fit on this kit is very poor and im still struggling to get to terms with the concept of a model that is made of posh polystyrene (byrofoam) that is designed for a quadra petrol engine, As the kit was made in the 1980's some of the products that are required to complete the model are no longer available so im having to try and source alternatives, So far i have almost done the top and bottom wings, the fus is joined and the undercarriage mounts are done and reinforced as the rear mounts just pulled through when i tightned the bolts up (oh the joys), I AM DETERMINED TO SEE THIS BUILD THROUGH AS SO FAR ITS BEEN A CHALENGE AND I WILL NOT GIVE IN.
ps anyone know of a good fuel proofer that is safe to use on foam?.........
