3 engines i would use in this, MVVS 160, with pitts silencer, or a zenoha 23 or 26 both should fit the cowl, both will power it well, the zenoah 23 can be picked up at right money, as can the MVVS, i would not cosider any pther motor bought 2nd hand, buy it off a trusted LMA member you can have diaologie with, buy off ebay is a chance, with no back up, buy off here, and problems can be sorted, now stop MESSING and take the damned advice

why do think alan i asking for advice, i don't want to just jump in and screw everything up, hence my caution, i have done that in the past and got burnt very badly,

i have posted on hear for a 26cc zonoha but not luck so far,

so if i can get a Z26cc then i would jum at it but if cannot then i will look at an alternative

by the way the z26cc is 1.3 kg all in , the HK 26 cc , is 1.8kg all in, that was a bit of a surprise,

i want to get the coope ready for testing @ cosford, out of hrs if possible, but having hard time finding a used Z26cc, but that said i might have to cough up on a new one (ouch), but would like to ry the used market first

do you hve a 26cc you ant to part with ? or know anyone

Help

i brought 2 x 26c engined

the roto i heavier and need no lead in the nose but it don't fit in the cowl without cutting it and tweak in the front end of the cowl,

the turnagy 26cc is lighter and needs no alteration to the cowl and will require a chunk of lead

which to use?

Hi Richard,
I am in Retford, and a few of us here fly 26 and 30cc models, so we should be able to meet up to sort you out.

60mm machine screws & a few ply discs are cheap. As are thick penny washers if you need the noseweight anyway.
