Have you vented the carbs Wayne, lead 2 tubes from the front to the carb inlets, brings fresh air to the carbs, plenty of turbelent air at the rear of the cowl, puts the wick out

Hi Alan
Thanks for coming back. At the moment the Cowl is off so I can set up motor.
Sorry to sound thick but are you saying to put tubes from the front and place over the carbs to give fresh air?

Cheers

Yep, the carbs are right at the back, were air batters the firewall, its a popular mod, ive done it, cured an errant running laser 150,, this mod came from niel tidy his self, turned out to be a tidy bit of help, also fit an on board glow, not sure what you would use for a twin,

Yes I can see that as they are not very far from bulk head. You would never have thought.
Is there anywhere I can see the best way to set up or shall I put a photo on here so you can see.
To say the least was scratching my head as I know how good these are

Cheers

Hi Alan
I have spoken to Laser and he said straight away that it was bottom end and informed me of the settings and after checking img the bad cylinder was way out.
I don't have any photos to go by and the motor is running nice and must say has a lot of power and sounds great

Well test flight completed on Sunday.
Got the Laser 360v singing, my son Sam carried out the test flight she flys great, so smooth in the air very little trim adjustments hands off sticks and she flys straight.
I then took her and did some circuits need to take some expo out on alerons on the landing she came down on rails.
We did a 9 min flight and only used less than half a tank. Now to get decals on and some more flights.
Photos to come and also have video so will post once done

Cheers

Hi Alan,
Thanks for commenting yes she flys great and the motor is well sorted.

I am installing a Saito FG57 petrol into her this weekend as I decided to stall with petrol as all my other ones are so if you know anyone who may want a Laser 360v I have one for sale.
Hope to see you at shows

Cheers

Hi Nigel
Many thanks, she flew very nice am very pleased with the motor going to do some tests on some props.
I put her on the BelAir stand afterwards and she got a lot of interest.
She is hopefully at Cosford and Much Marcle.
Look forward to seeing photos.
Kind Regards

What happened to the 172/182 in your second slot, that did an inverted pass then all I heard was a sickening Thud !!

We'll both of us were trying to fly as a pare then Clous split off I was watching the inverted and next thing is we are being asked to land to be honest not sure after that.

Great looking photos can't wait to see others

Wayne
