Yes your right Mike the Tiffy played a big part in Normandy, Thats why they have a monument to the Tiffy pilots there. We cant make it there this year but next year Ken and myself are taking the Models there with the Typhoon cordial entante trust. The Monument is on a Tiffy crash site.

And i would so like my old MK1b again , must try to load up so pictures of it.
I built it for Topgun USA way back in 92 and drilled the thing after months of good flying on 35meg, after Ripmax lent me some 40meg modules.
The TX module had been cooked and gave various amounts of output.
Yes you guessed it, she drilled before it even got close to a packing case.
I re-invented it as an FL kit, which flew beautifully just like Tiff Willis' model here.

Over the moon mate.
I fitted some new Cycled rx packs to it , new 2.4 rx and that was it.
Had a couple of small issues on the first flight. One Flap servo jammed with about 1/3rd flap on the stbd wing for some strange reason.New servo now fitted. Also I had an air leek on the retracts,I think that's me not doing the connectors up tight enough as they worked fine home here .
Apart from that all was well. Flys a treat.
Very happy bunny.
