The serial numbers went very well and so far the code letters on the port side are looking very good too. Stars and bars going on tommorrow.

Paint mask or did you use masking tape. Looks to be a very clean edge.

Nigel had his Meister bolt out at the the weekend now that its powered by a 150 radial. In fact we had 4 Meisters out!!

Didn't think I'd get away with that one. All of the markings are done with paint masks from Flightling Graphics, Nigel makes a great job of these masks. They come numbered so it's easy to work out in which order they go on as something like the Spitfire fuselage roundal has four colours and so four masks which need to on in the right order. Having the masks will save you a lot of time and will always be accurate, well worth the extra cost.

I now have the wing at home to start the riveting but haven't done flush rivets in a couple of years so needed to practice again. The pylons were the obvious choice!

Would have uploaded a pic but when I tried it told me that the 'board attachment quota has been reached'????

Top of wing now fully riveted and underside started although won't be doing as many on the bottom. Will have wing finished over the weekend then can bring the fuz home to start that

Too right, although I have flown pretty much every weekend for as long as I can remember. Riveting is done in front of the TV in the evenings!!

Been doing the fuz for the last couple of evenings! Sarah watches her c**p on TV and I tap tap tap tap tap tap tap :)

Another riveting evening but the fuz is now complete. Just the flaps and gear doors to rivet before lightly rubbing down and starting to paint. Don't think I've quite got enough time to get it ready for Rougham....well not this years anyway.

How's the other bolt in this thread doing?

The other bolt is coming along just fine. All of the markings are on, just got to finish the underside grey and then do the nose art.
