Hats off to you, that's a big build in anyone's book.

I look forward to seeing fly at one of the shows in due course.
Well done, it's a real credit to you. If one day I can build something half so good I'll be well pleased.

Thank you for all the messages, you all are right it was a huge build,

It just shows you that no matter how old you are, what experience you have and what space you have to build you model in, if you want a large model you can have one!!!!

Yes at times i wanted to have a huge fire, one phone call to Mr Johnson soon sorted that out, telling me to "stop being soft and get it glassed" also watching videos / pics and so on helped the build no end......

One other thing, how do you get epoxy resin off a carpet? :? :?

Thanks again guys,

Here is the video link again, we re-uploaded it with a better quality connection so you can see it in HD :)

Rob please dont let this fame go to your head. Also do you have any plans left over. And finally the best thing to do if you ever get resin on the carpet again is to hitch up your caravan and disappear for a couple of weeks.

I know this may have been sorted by now but I wanted to offer a top tip for getting resin out of the carpet. You get under the sofa or in the corner of the room and scrape up loads of fluff out of the carpet, you then cut out the offending resin(or in my case several fag burns after a pretty wild party) then cyano the fluff in its place dont use too much cyano. It works a treat and theres no need to mention it to parents/wife/whoever they will never notice.

Well done with the Lancaster Rob,big up to da yout innit, you'd better get cracking on the Spitfire and Hurricane to accompany it this winter.
