At last back on the 190, working on the cowl plug, which will take a few weeks before ready to make the mould from, anyway here is the first stage from the ply rings to the sheet going on.

There is quite a big radius on the leading edge of the real thing.

The cowl has now been sanded back, and a thin layer of car body filler all over and sanded again, the front ring will be made this weekend along with the cheek fairings, then i can add some detail.

Panel lines , all the rivets, and the over centre catches and hinges, plus the tear drop blisters below the centre line on each side.
You are only moulding it once so may as well put it all on, dont want it to look like a big ARTF .

Nearly done, both halves are at this stage, so tomorrow night start laying on some detail, here you can see the first hinge line on the plug.

Plug halves nearly done, just have to rivet the right one tonight, then leave for a week to stop doing it's chemical thing.

Hurry up Willy, people keep asking about when they can buy this one. Are you taking it to Gaydon?
