Help !!!!!!!

Postby Mike Ellis » March 31st, 2012, 6:38 pm

Can anyone enlighten me as to how ACTIVATE the switches ie D/R etc on my set !!

They USED to work BUT I have pressed something now NOTHING works !!

I also wish to programme the set to have the ailerons on seperate channels. Having read the book and then discarded it as useless lol all I can achieve is : ONE ail working OR both ailerons going the WRONG way( unable to reverse them also) or BOTH ailerons acting as flaps !!

If anyone can help it will save me throwing myself off a cliff !!

I used to have a 9x11, same softwear I think.

If memory serves me right you need to go to

hold enter button and turn tx on.

Go to device select

from here you will be able to assign switches by activating (act) or inhibiting them (inh) .

I hope this helps if not then sorry,,,,,

Hi Mike,

I have a DSX9 here, this is what I would suggest:

Switch on Transmitter normally then push the 'LIST' key.

- The top lefthand option should be 'D/R & EXP'. Select this.

- Highlight the Function to have Dual Rates applied (Options of AILE, ELEV and RUDD).

- You will see 'Pos-0' or 'Pos-1' which corresponds to the switch position (written next to the switch), select one of these and also the 'D/R' column together.

- You can now change the total movement of that surface depending on switch position.

My radio doesn't give any option to enable or disable....100% gives zero Dual Rates and anything other will.

I hope this helps.

This is good advice if the DX9 is the same software as the 9X 2 which I think it is .The device select and wing type sections work together if messed up they will give the problems you describe .To get your ailerons on 2 channels switch on holding the enter key go to wing type and select flaperon make sure the mates are all inh .Then select list and enter the device select section, get the trim on for the flap channel and have the out section at the bottom inh for flap .Plug the left aileron into channel6 and it should work .To set direction, throws and sub trim switch on the TX normally and press list and you should see all the functions listed don't forget that expo on JR is + to reduce movement at stick centre . If you have flaps you can use another channel which you can set up in the device select section .I hope this helps

Another Alan!!
