Still plenty happening here.........350+ hrs into a Ziroli Corsair for a ZG80 (currently detailing & riveting) and just over a weeks worth of work on finishing/painting a CompARF Spit..............
The 2013 build list stretches well into 2014 already, possibly even early 2015..........so all sorts to report on as and when they progress.

Not another Duxford based scheme, and I can assure you that machine maybe shiney but it gets bloomin dirty just after a few minutes of running as do all of those Yanky radial engined monsters. Atleast the model has a proper engine fitted which will throw out plenty of oil.
This is my long running project of a Meister 1/4 scale Zero, it started out as a part built fuzz & kit purchased over 18 months ago. The retracts with it were for the 1/5th Zero although being Sierra they were of no use to this project being too short. I have made my own retact's and the legs are nearing completion. I have made the engine mounts as modules with a choice of Zenoah 80 twin modified to CM6 plugs (to get it inside the cowl) & electronic ignition or Moki 150 Radial, wings are sheeted with 2mm lite ply and glassed using the water based system which worked great. The fuzz is nearly ready for glassing. Steve is also building one and is at about the same stage of build using a 3W 80 twin for power, we aim to complete them this year. I am looking to modify the collector ring on the radial to exhaust at the sides as scale. Dave
