Wow, the two models that took a nose dive for no reason last year are nearly back where they belong. Well done people.

Bonzey.

Now, do I fly at the Nats 2013? doubt it!

I will think about it, but after loosing two models for for two years at the same event no apparent reason I am a bit concerned.

Stew I don't know how to do that old son , I is just a plane maker.
Maybe we could ask nice Mr Parry if he could wave a magic wand at the screen and relocate it where you suggest.
Yes please Dave under the heading 'Supermarine Works'. :D :D

Mike Booth wrote:One of our Spits took a hit over Barkston Nationals last summer and went into an inverted flat spin.
The pilot Ken Baldock-Marrow bailed but the old Spit tried to mess up the landscape.
Fortunately the landscape came off worst, the damage to GZ? Was limited to tearing the front end off and a few de-lam joints in the wings.
So here she is back in the shop for re fixing and laminating the front end back on.
All done she just wants a re fit and paint and she'll be gracing the skies again soon.

Interestingly the Grand daughter of the 92 yr old pilot of GZ? has been in touch and asked if Kenny boy and me can organise a Flypast with the model for him.
He had apparently asked after the model after seeing pictures on my website.
Time being of the essence, plans are afoot.

Finally got the chance to make a start on the refurb this afternoon.
I got it all rubbed down and about ready for its new coat of primer.

Ken.

Plenty. Two Yak 50 builds, T33 paint job. Panther lurking in the corner.
Composite glider restoration. MK19 Spit build. Spitfire wing restoration x 2.
Also good old Connie has had a partial repaint, as she was looking very tired after seven years of shows and foreign trips.
