Glad to be of service folks.

Time to celebrate by getting somebody else to buy me a steak & beer in Paris!

Stuff Paris if you ever find your self down in the Southern Hemisphere in South Africa or anywhere south of the tropic of capricorn on the African continent I will foot the bill for a man size steak and a dozen beers to wash it down. If you ever find yourself in Pretoria then i will make sure you are entertained with a decent 1.5kg T Bone.

Thats just for me nagging you like an old woman.

that would be about £7 for that lot, never have i eaten as well, or as cheap as i did in south africa, love the place, but since the world cup, prices have risen, and lets face it, paris is a TAD closer!!!!!

Well Alan must have been a while ago when I was over feb last year it cost about £10 for a 1.5 kilo T-Bone and beers were about 90p but depends on where you go, If of course anyone ever goes to Oudtshoorn for the Nationals in South Africa the best thing to eat there is Ostrich. :D

I know a few scrutineers over there they always used to be paid in beers after the job was done as before held certain obvoius dangers. A Braai ( barbeque ) was of course the norm after, during and before any event, perhaps if we had a similar system of payment we would keep scrutineers interested in the role. :D
