Gregg way to go mate I really did laugh out loud. He's alright that Kenny boy, you should see the standard of his full size interior refurb's. Pukka son.
Well, after my Spit doing free flight last year at the Nats and getting quite badly damaged, I am pleased to report that Mike Boothe successfully got it all repaired for me. Progress report. I have started painting This evening I managed to get all the underside in the light grey. Hoping to have it in cammo by Sunday night. Bonzey
Well I am really happy to report that I had four great flights with the Spit over the weekend. All went really well (apart from the exhaust coming loose on the first flight) and as soon as she lifted off I felt at home again with it. Big thank you to Mike Booth for helping out with grafting the front end back onto the fuz and for his superb weathering done at the field over the weekend in between flights
No worries Ken, my pleasure. You are the master of the three point landing. Good to see Squadron strength back up to where it was. Loved our duo flight. See you at the beach head landing ground.!
Here he is looking chuffed with the post restoration flight. The relatives of the original 92yr old pilot have been in touch after he saw Kens model on the net. We are going to meet them this summer and put on a show for them
