Model collection help please

Postby Joshua Henderson » August 16th, 2013, 1:53 am

Hi guys
I'm after buying Paul smiths dc3 from him

However the problem is, he lives in Somerset and I live in Blackburn lancs
I'm only 19 so unfortunately I cannot afford to travel down to collect.

So because of this I'm wondering if anybody around the Somerset area or working in the Somerset area would be willing to collect the dc3 at take it to the nationals?

If so I would be eternally grateful and I would obviously cover your fuel costs etc

My number is 07791735301

Failing that is anybody down in Somerset or near that is travelling a little nearer to me to ease my travel cost?

Many thanks

Josh

Hi Simon

It's a zirolli dc3 so about 9ft wingspan but breaks down

I believe that Rob Buckley will be helping me but he will be taking it to gaydon

I need to speak to Paul tomorrow and see if he can wait that long.

If not do you have a contact number so we can speak properly tomorrow after speaking to Paul

Thanks
Josh

I have just read the thread on it. If the tail is glued on and the center section then there is no way I can get int in the Caravan. If these are not glued then I could .

Hi Simon
I think I'm sorted now thanks for the offer. I will let you know if it changes

Hi Alan
Yep I knew it was 140" but wasn't sure on conversion as most people work in feet and I'm in inches:-)

Thanks anyway

Josh
