Bud Nosen 1/4 Scale Corsair?

Postby sean smith » January 1st, 2014, 6:57 pm

Hi,
Does anyone know anything about these models? Looking at the plan the model looks like it's a giant scale fun fighter.

I don't think Bud Nosen ever did a 1/4 scale Corsair. Are you getting it mixed up with the Jim Miester one which is like a big fun fly model that flys very well ?

Hi John,
Plans have 1/4 scale printed on them and at 108" its not to far out (1/4.3) It does look like a large Meister Corsair.I can't find much on the web about the Corsair but there seems to be a few P47's and Mustangs around.

As you can see from the picture the Bud Nosen Corsair is larger than the Meister Corsair.

Sean

A rare find, where did you get the plans from ? I have looked through my extensive archive and can't find any reference to a Nosen Corsair at all.

John
The plans came from the US. I have found out that the plans were drawn up but no kit was ever made unlike the P47 and P51.
