Hard Working Chaps

Postby Bob Johnstone » March 20th, 2014, 2:22 pm

My thanks to the guys who DO for us. A very fast response from our Dave Bailey. He got my Event tickets Strathaven 005 and Elvington 006 to me nice and quick. :D

INDEED, the guys who run this site, and the association, are the best of the best, and to be honest, a paltry membership fee of £30 is the least we could do to support them, TO ALL WHO POST ON HERE, AND ARE NOT MEMBERS, why? its worth £30 for the journal alone, and if you do the shows, you can pull some of that back by discounted admission to most shows, and when you want a cup of tea at shows, why go pay£1+ :shock: we have member HOSPITALITY, where you can get a hot brew, or a cold drink, FREE OF CHARGE and if the boss hasnt scoffed them, a piece of cake, and a bikky and if we have a good year disounted membership (not guranteed though) to the end of january FOR £20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a no brainer, to all who use this site, and are not members, join us, you know it makes sense :D :D

Very true Alan. This website has been fantastic for learning more about large models the LMA and deciding what shows I can attend, but like you said you have to be quick with the biscuits as there seems to always be a certain somone hanging around the tent, nudge nudge wink wink :lol:

For the life of me I can't remember who it was but I asked a man in a YOF cap at Elvington couple years back;
"Do you know where Dave is? Cadets are looking for him"
And the reply was;
"Ehm no, but i'd just follow the biscuit crumbs to be honest"
:lol:
Now I know why :D

Don't let our humour spoil the genuine thanks given in the first post to all the hardworking chaps .

So thanks to all of them again. Eat more sprouts But keep off the biscuits

Is this a job for the moderator? Me thinks this site has been hacked. William Pex has put the same entry in the Old Forum Lounge and Jets as well. Jonesey.
