VERY SAD NEWS

It is with great sadness and shock that I have to report the passing of long time committee member and friend DAVE BAILEY---he has worked as Camping manager for the LMA for many many years and will be greatly missed.

I just can't get my head around this, to say I am shocked is an understatement, I like Dave got woke up this morning by Matt, Dave Baileys son telling me the sad news, word fail me to describe how I am feeling at this moment. My thoughts go out to his wife Karen and his family at this dreadful time for them all.

What terrible news! being overseas I only just read the post. Having not been a member of the LMA for as long as many members, I only got to know Dave over the last couple of years, his humor and genuine warm welcome usely on the gate at all the shows I have attended will be greatly missed. This is truly very sad news for not only the LMA but for Model flyers throughout the UK and more importantly for his close family and friends.
Dave was for me a true Ambassador of the LMA always showing that helpful kind attitude to his fellow modellers and would never see anyone stuck with a problem.

You will be missed by the many who were privileged to have you share a part in there lives.
