3rd scale

Postby rob ellis » December 21st, 2014, 3:42 pm

Well after a hectic year I now have the 3rd scale spitfire moulded,..,,.anyone interested in either a ME109 or SPITFIRE contact either dave Clarke or my self,.., without to many mods on either airframes the spitfire can either be a mk 8.,9.,16 or the ME109 could be an F.,G.,K variant so plenty of scope for scale shemes on both.,.,.,
when the 109 is ready for moulding It will not have the MG blisters on the rear cowl .,but these will be available,,.,the canopy frame will be attached & just need the glazed areas cut out,,

quick update on the 3rd scale fighters.,,.,the spitfire is pretty much ready now as a kit,.this is a glass fuss,.built up wing.,resin cockpit with outstanding detail.,.,cant quote a price yet but will do shortly.,.,the original built up airframe that was used as a plug is now sold to a private collector which will go into a large collection of aircraft,.,,.he wanted it re-finished as MH434 when it was with 222 squadron at Hornchurch in factory fresh finish,.,.the me109 is next & that airframe can be made airworthy or would make a nice static display.,this sinister looking aircraft doesn't have a cockpit kit yet but I can possibly get a 3d printed dash,.gun sight in 3rd scale to add a bit more detail to what is an awesome detailed airframe..it will be available as is fresh from the moulding or in a scheme of the customers choice,..,price to follow,,.,.
happy easter to all.,,.

Thanks Barry,
Yes we can supply kolm engines. We have just done Two IL 135cc for spitfires. These engines can also have a 270 degree crank for that off beat realistic sound and are available with a long or short nose and on board starters.
Rob call me if you want to chat. My number is on the ladbroke hobbies web site.
Cheers,
Allan
