Retract systems

Postby Wayne Cox » February 24th, 2017, 9:59 pm

Hi gents,
I am contemplating building from plan the A-36 Beech Bonanza from Wendell Hostetler @ 27%.
I am asking if there are some retracts out there or could you advise on anyone who could make a set.
Many thanks in advance

Regards
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Wendell H recommends Century jet - I have a set in a model which have performed well. There's a guy in Oz who might do them for you - Al Zuger @ Custom retracts makes excellent quality gear, but as always,at a price,I've had two items from him - good stuff.

Cheers

Pete

Hey up Wayne.
Why don't you contact Kingfisher Aviation. They will get you a set custom made by Dave Brown.
Dave Wiston just had set of mains made up for his Heinkel and they are very robust.

Wayne... as Mr Visdrey says, the ones from Kingfisher are very good quality, you can get the gear and all asociated bits and pieces from them . mine dropped straight in the model , consider the Heinkel weighs in at 60KG , they are very robust..
