Phil,what a gentleman. :o

I noticed the drawings are 1/10 so (my bad), i think it would be difficult to get the smaller parts accurate though.

So i planned to mount the fuel tank right on the cg but the structure as is wouldn't allow for this easily, time for more modding.

Phil Clark wrote:I bought the Monforton drawings when they still offered printed plans @ 1/4 scale........I'm sure I still have them stashed somewhere Rob, so I'll have a look. You're more than welcome to borrow them if I can find them as all parts of the seat were shown to allow you to build an accurate replica.

It's so intriguing to see an ultimate fan of rc build a masterpiece such as this, tbh Phil i don't think mine would come out this good even if i had the privilege of the 1/4 drawings, excellent work my friend!

The cool air intake is completed so i bonded the nose section in place along with the carbon rod strengtheners.

i'm quite sure these will be strong enough and it saves filling the nose with heavy glass.
They run through two formers and the firewall.

Canopy rails removed (what a pain) it would have been more painful to work around them.
