Wanted - Large Warbird RTF......

I am on the lookout for a large ready to fly Warbird for a client

We are building him a large Warbird (96" Tempest) at present, but he's after a similar sized model, ready to fly that he can get some experience on before flying the Tempest as he's mainly used to flying large 3D/Aerobatic type models.

Anything considered but must be in reasonable condition, complete with retracts, engine & servos (no RX required as he'll fit his own)......ARF's, kit built......anything considered.

We have a budget up to £ 1,300.

Hi Phil have got a brand new YT Typhoon with yt air up air down retracts with twin tanks brand new dle 35ra
Has had maiden and was perfect motor Has had ground run + maiden and was faultless all servos were new ignition batt
New receiver batts and new landing light batts on Jeti radio with can be removed

Ideally i think he's looking for something larger than the Typhoon & heavier than the Corsair. I know the BH models come out V light for their size, so to gain some useful experience before a 96" 40lb 85cc Tempest, something closer to this size/weight/power would be ideal.............if such a thing exists out there somewhere?

Doesn't need to be pretty...........used but reliable is all we need. There must be a 90 odd inch 60-80cc size model out there for 12-1300 quid surely.......

Phil,what version of the Tempest are you building ? I bore people to death telling them that I worked on target towing Tempest 5 in the early 1950 .I also smashed up the last remaining and brand new Napier Sabres engines.Always wanted to build a model of the 5,but too late in life now.

I have a 50CC YT spitfire 89" span and about 24lb flying weight. Currently built (by Ian Redshaw) unflown and no engine if that is any help?
