1/4 Scale Spitfire MkIX NOW SOLD

[/b]A commitment to two new 1/3 scale projects has led me to sell my much loved 1/4 scale Flying Legends (Mike Booth) Spitfire. the model is finished to a high standard and above all it flies beautifully.

Construction is all composite epoxy glass moulded with full rivet detail etc
Span 2.8m 110 inches – two piece wing with carbon fibre tubular wing joiner
Weight is 22kgs - 48.5lbs
Engine 80cc Evolution Petrol with Evo exhaust
Prop 26” x 10”
“Unitracts” air retracts and oleo legs
Scale wheels with ally hubs
Radio if Futaba SBUS RX x 2 with PowerBox Competition, PowerBox switch and Futaba servos.
Battery radio 2 x 6v 3500mAh NiMH
Battery Ignition 1 x 7.2v 3500mAh NiMH

The model was first test flown on 25th May 2014 and has been largely flown only at shows and has completed around 60 flights in total. It is finished in the scheme of MJ250 which served in Italy during the Second World War. It is unusual in that it was in bare metal.
I am looking for £2950.00 for this fine model, but I am happy to split out the PowerBox and RX's if these are not wanted and will adjust the price to reflect this.
