Hi Richard,

I have the same model which once belonged to Ali but as yet not flown it as getting a bit more 'newbie' jet practice in with my XL Boomer first. He recommends setting CG by holding model down until it sits on lower fins then when released should drop fairly lightly onto nose wheel. Sounds fine to me albeit a little hit and miss but can't find any solid info on CG for this model on the internet and so far unable to source manual. Would appreciate it if you could let me know where you balanced yours and how it performed.
Out of interest there's a great video of him flying it at Baldock along with Mark Hintons Hawk which I'm sure would help to sell yours as really looks the bees knees with smoke on especially the way Ali flies it !. Just put in TWO LARGE SCALE BEA HAWKS - ALI AND MARK -YOU TUBE. Regards John.
