100 degree Large heavy durty, Rotating Pneumatic Retract F4U Corsair, F6F Hellcat.
These were designed specifically for the Ziroli F6F Hellcat or other aircraft up to 50 lbs. These retracts feature heavy duty side frames with steel bearings, and 5/8” diameter struts.
These pneumatically operated retracts are constructed from aircraft steel and aluminium components. They feature positive up-locks, functional 4130 chrome moly steel oleo struts, triple sealed 5/8” diameter air cylinder and 1/4 inch axles. The struts rotate 90° when retracted.
Full strut length can be reduced by removing the torque link assembly, reducing the length of the rotating strut and compression spring to required length / tension and refitting the torque link.
