Arrived just before Christmas from South Africa, white one is a 1939 right hand drive Dodge D12 built in Detroit not Canada as most RHD of those years were and e red one is a 1941 Chevrolet Special Sedan also right hand drive and also built in the USA both rather rare old ladies, both were being used as photo booths at a wedding venue in South Africa , Covid closed that down, both running and driving two more leaving soon, a 1937 Plymouth and another 1941 Chevrolet but in two tone blue. It seems the Chevrolets are two of only fourteen right hand drive of that particular model built in 1941.

So this is now a second attempt at bringing cars into the UK following theft of five others I had which were being prepped and repaired for shipping. So my restorer in SA hit hard times and sold my cars, I gave up on doing it again and took up my old hobby of flying, now I am back at the classic side of things but am hanging on to my planes, decided I can do both.

My newest arrivals landed on 25/03/2021 and I went off to collect them on 01/04/2021 and perhaps the day chosen was a clue to what was going to happen, arriving at 08h30 I began to load a lovely 84 year old Plymouth when my Achilles tendon in my left leg snapped.

I will now in all likelihood be focusing on getting well and trying to sort the cars I have, flying will be taking a back seat this year and I am now perhaps leaning towards selling up most of my planes.
