Flair Tiger Moth

Another chance to buy this extraordinary Tiger moth, but please don't think you can convert it to petrol there is limited space and i would hate to think my hand made ally cowl was being cut about.. This Tiger moth was restored by me a few years ago, I made a hand beaten ally cowl with opening doors. It has a brand new Biela 17x8 prop. there is a Futaba receiver powered by 2 receiver batteries though a clever switch which can detect a fault and use one battery.
It has lathe made ally wheel hubs as the plastic ones are rubbish. its not perfect , I wanted to keep its character, £800

It has a laser 150 4 stroke engine, I could put it together and run the engine. You can see it flies great from the video.

Trying to put more photos up. All the gauges were made by me for my original Tiger about 20 years ago as were the windscreens, all survived when it came down and were reused on this one. The first one also had a hand made metal cowl left in silver, but thought it would look nice painted this time, I used a good paint £5 a can and i used several cans on the model.
I made a proper floor for the fuel tank, then under that a space for the batteries.

I spent a long time stripping the paint on the fuel tank so i could get the corrugations to stand out properly.

This was my original tiger built from the first kit to hit the shops. I flew it for 14 years, then when it crashed I saved what I could.
I then bought another ready made, which had won best flying model at old warden. I transferred my old under carriage as it was better, and set about relearning how to hand beat a metal cowl, helped by Gordon Warburtoñ, with the wood formers.
The main body looks like solartex, but the wings are smooth and shiny and feel great to touch with all the rib detail added.
I am finding it very difficult to part with it but will take a good offer.
Don't ask me what servos are in it or how old the engine is as i don't know, i do know the engine works as it should.

Two people are showing interest, first to come will be the lucky new owner. It's like owning a small version of a full size moth because of the detail, you won't find many with a metal cowl. I often wonder what happened to Gordon Warburton 1/4 scale Tiger,
That had a metal cowl too it was a work of art.
