Thank you Alan for your kind words and encouragement,it was nice to meet up yesterday and keep plugging away with your model it looked great in the air, retracts tend to test patience levels,as far as my Corsair is concerned this was the first public outing since obtaining the excemption etc a couple of months ago,and what a super venue and day it was at the first of this years fly-ins organised by the Greenacres club for the Yt International meeting, the guys from Greenacres really know how to put on a relaxed event.

I am enjoying the Corsair ( there are some flying shots on the Greenacres site ),it is a very well behaved model with no vices at all, but as I discovered on my final landing yesterday it will not remain on the ground with full flap applied,it just keeps wanting to fly,I now only have to work up a decent routine for displaying a model WW2 fighter, its interesting that since I have been flying predominantly jets over the last few years it does influence ones flying style and manouvres somewhat, although I am resisting any full power verticals which the Corsair would be more than capable of with the Moki radial running at full chat - the Solo 3 blade prop is also performing faultlessly and certainly looks the part.

See everyone soon Trevor Wood LMA 687.
