silicon tube

Hi
Please can you tell me if i can use silicon tube ( as used to join tuned pipe to manifold on a glow motor )
on a petrol engine to get the exhaust gas out side the cowl,about a 3 inch run in a straight line.

Hi Arthur. There is a brand of silicon tube suitable to gas engines. I was looking at some just recently in Hobby Stores Beeston Notts .They do mail order.
