central fuel tank

Postby barrie burton » October 18th, 2010, 6:36 pm

Anybody out there used a central fuel tank feeding two petrol engines? My latest project has more room in the fuselage than the engine bay.Motors have Walbro carbs and it is about 15", in old money, from fuselage centre line to engine centre line.

Barrie,
No problem at all using just the one tank, the carbs on my Magister are over 30" / 750mm from the single tank.

Hey John, how many engines do you have on your magister?

Chris,
Two, they are stuck together one behind the other, so I only need one prop but I do need two carbs.

Thanks John - I didn't know that. Just for nostalgia a pic of my Dad's Magister.
