FLY PAST OF HARRIER GR9s

Postby Richard Sullivan » December 14th, 2010, 4:03 pm

To day there was a trial fly past of 16 HARRIER GR9S in diamond formation with 1 out rider to the starboard side over RAF WYTON a site to be seen no photos as phone died on me.

But they will be out again for the official fly past on Wednesday the 15 at approx 13.45 -14.45 and then over to RAF WITTERING 10-15 minutes later so if you are in the area well worth a look
THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF FLYING FOR THE HARRERIS

:!: After this they will be disbanded a must see if your around :!:

If I can I will pinpoint the time better when I here in the morning and up date

Hi Rich,

Is there any chance that you can capture the event on a camcorder and possibly upload it to youtube. I can do this for you if
you don't have an account with youtube.

Paul.

Hi Guys,

Yes, I went yesterday. Weather was pretty naff & as usual brighten up a little as we walked back to the cars. They couldn't manage the 16 ship fly past because of the weather limits, so we had to make do 4 mini fly pasts.

Cheers,
