They are all around 40lbs ready to fly give or take a bit . As I said thats just on our 3 models , the 30x10 certainly suited our airframes better.

Done a little more today quite pleased with progress, cowl turned out to be really simple to build. It slides forward removing the front and top in one piece to give access to engine and tank bay, when it stops raining i'll get some more pics of the cowl.

Actually got back onto the DV11 at last,i have made a tray that slides in and out of the top centre section to accomodate the radio for the ailerons,it does away with the servo wires from fus to top wing. All flying surfaces are now covered, started finishing fusalage today and making side pannels out of 20 swg ali.

Cracked on since last post, all servos now fitted, pull pull wires all done on rudder and elevators, just waiting for some fittings to arrive to finish ailerons. Also made a duct to direct the air over the cylinder, also modified the exhaust to suit.Weighed it again today with everything in it,it tipped the scales at 37.5 lb,CG is spot on but i will add just a tad of nose weight just to be on the safe side, now waiting for the fittings and the 30x10 to arrive and i can go and play.

Cheers,Dave.

Well flown it today the video is the maiden flight it flew really well,it's not as agile as the DR1 and SE5 but it is much heavier at 39 lb.Engine was faultless as ZG62 normally are,2 clicks of down elavator was all that was needed and also for the next few flights i mixed 25% rudder with aileron which made a vast difference. Can be tricky on the ground if you get it only slightly cross wind, but very managable, all in all a good day.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7WLSl26 ... e=youtu.be
